This is version 3.0.4 of GymMaster. It is approximately 38MB and will take about 2 hours to download on a dial-up (56Kb/s) connection. New versions of the software are often released, so check back regularly.

About the demo

This demo does not contain all the features of the full product. Many features are turned off. It is also limited to only 100 members at a time.

The demo does not contain any time limit restrictions. It wont delete your data or restrict entry after so-many days, but you are restricted by the 100 member limit. GymMaster does not contain any spyware or viruses. The demo contains 3 packages, GymMaster binary files, GTK run time library and PostgreSQL. GTK provides the GUI interface. Postgresql is an industrial-strength sql database engine. This is the Lite version and is restricted to 100 members.

This demo doesnt contain the reporting or card control software. These features come with the full version.

System requirements

This version of the demo runs under Windows XP Home and Windows XP Professional. Linux and Unix versions are avaliable on request. A screen with a resolution of 1024x768 or higher is recommended.

You will need to have a NTFS filesystem on your main harddrive on your computer. Most Windows XP installations are on NTFS formatted drives so this unlikely be a problem for most people. But if your computer has both Windows 98 and Windows XP installed on it will more likely be FAT32 files system. The SQL server can not be installed onto FAT32 filesystems. You can check this if you go to 'My Computer' then right click on 'Local Disk (C:)'. It will have a section called 'File system:' which will say NFTS or FAT32.

Also at present GymMaster may have problems installing on a Windows Domain if your computers are on a Domain then consult your network admin. The DMC and Admin passwords need to be the same or for the administrator to have full domain rights.

If you have a firewall, you may need to allow connections to localhost (127.0.0.1) to allow the SQL server to work properly. Most firewalls should allow connections localhost by default. The SQL server allows many client PC's to connect to the server.

You should reboot your PC after installing GymMaster. The product may not function correctly until your computer has been rebooted.
