Gym Master was developed initially for a large recreation center that was a membership-based organisation with fitness gyms and recreation activities.
We originally started developing Gym Master in the 1990s for Linux and later ported it to Windows. We began marketing it to gyms and similar organisations from early 2007 and since then, Gym Master has had a strong uptake.
Gym Master is developed in Christchurch, New Zealand, a small country in the South Pacific. Christchurch is a technology hub, with many IT and engineering cmpanies focused on software development and engineering. We sell to health clubs all around the world.
Penguins are the official mascot of Linux, an open source alternative to MS Windows. Gym Master was originally developed for Linux and ported to MS Windows.
As well as being the mascot for Linux, Penguins are our friendly Southern neighbours in the South Pacific.
