Proximity smart card security
Credit sized cards control who, and when members can get access to which facilities. No swiping is necessary, just wave the card over the card reader. This technology is much cheaper than traditional magnetic card readers. Expired members are picked up before they enter and not weeks later, and the system saves time for reception, as they don't have to do such things as check members or tick off concession cards.
