Contents
- Member names can be entered in lower case and the first letter will
be converted to a capital on tabbing down.
- Movement around the screen can be achieved by using tab, shift + tab,
up and down arrows, and by clicking on a box.
- Additional addresses such as a billing address or postal address can
be entered under Extra Details in the lower Membership section.
- Dates can be entered as dd mm yy but will appear as yyyy-mm-dd.
- Gender is either 'm' or 'f'
- Enter address. If additional addresses are needed such as for billing,
this can be entered in the lower half membership section in Extra
Details.
- More Notes space is available in the programme memberships section.
- Reference and Owing is automatically generated and should not be
entered.
- Card Number is where a proximity card is issued. It can be automatically
picked up from the reader by use of the Get Card function. It can
also be entered manually (See Card issue procedure below).
- Organisation is an optional field. One use is if you want to use it
for a sorting option in reporting. eg You have a corporate membership
and want to report by company within that membership.
- Involvement type is chosen from preset options and may include Member
or Casual.
- Bank Particulars is used where membership is paid for by bank Automatic
Payment (AP). The information typed in this box is the identification
of the payment from your bank statement. It may be the member name,
bank account or other unique reference entered on the AP form details
such as membership number. When money is received and processed through
the banking section it will check against this information and change
it if required.
- For Direct Debits which you initiate to the bank, the bank details
are entered through Extra Details on the member's memberships.
- In the membership details in the lower screen, additional information
can be entered. This incudes under Extra Details an alternative billing
address if this is needed.
- When the member details are completed the save icon (disk) can be
clicked.
- Web membership signups can open a new membership and record details
where there is not a close match with an existing member.
