19.1.5 Firewalls

• If you have a firewall installed, this must first be disabled before you can install GymMaster. PostgreSQL must be able to listen for incoming TCP/IP connections which a firewall can block. PostgreSQL listens on port 5432 on the local IP address of 127.0.0.1.
• You need to make sure your firewall allows connections through on port 5432.
• If you want to have GymMaster work over a network you need to allow access to port 5432 through your firewall and edit the pg_hba.conf file
