9.2.2 Purchases

To record a new stock purchase.

  1. Select the Point of Sale->Stock Purchases menu item.
  2. Click the "+" button to begin.
  3. Adjust the time and date of the purchase if required; it will default to the current time and date.
  4. Edit the number of each item purchased by selecting the row from the list, then selecting the quantity field. Make certain you have tabbed past the value field after entering an amount for it to register on saving. Note that the quantity field defaults to the same quantity as the last purchase, making repeat purchases more simple.
  5. Save the transaction.
