Recording a New Stocktake

To record the results of a stocktake, follow these steps.

  1. Select the Point of Sale->Stocktakes menu item.
  2. Click the "+" button to begin. This will update the inventory column to what the system says it should be.
  3. Adjust the time and date of the stocktake if required; it will default to the current time and date.
  4. Edit the number of each stock type found by selecting the row from the list, then selecting the quantity field.
  5. Make certain that all stock count fields have been tabbed through then save. This will amend the system figures for any adjustments in number recorded.
