ARGUMENT

as children of a api or function tag Arguments are passed to external libraries or C programmes in the form of a GList*. See glib api reference on using GLists. All the arguments are added to the glist and are passed in. as childern of a report tag, or (function with process_arguments="false") arguments also have a name property. the name is significant to the owner of the argument and need not be unique.

Constant will send though a straight string to your programme. Field will extract a value from the database and provide that as a string. Widget will get the value in a widget, this will even work on dropdown boxes where the value you want returned is different to the value displayed in the widget. Bondobject will give you a BondObject * which will contain a dbobj under the references of bobj->obj. Bondobject and dbobjectsrc are the same and there is no difference between them. dbobjectsrc will be removed at a later date. Please refer to the paymaster example applications for more details on how to use arguments.
